Culture Night 2009 Featuring Ronan Goti

Friday 25 September – Monday 5 October 2009

Our Aim:

In conjunction with this year's CULTURE NIGHT 2009 in Dublin, Oisín Gallery presents another enjoyable night of art and entertainment, with an exhibition of works by various artists from its current stable and by invitation. We trust that all visitors to this late evening event will enjoy the many artworks on display by established local and international artists, whilst enjoying a range of artworks by emerging and previously unseen artists.

We aim to bring our visitors another enjoyable night of art and entertainment, with an exhibition of paintings and sculpture by gallery artists, at our drinks reception on Friday 25 September from 6 to 10 pm. We hope you will add us as one of your stops on your Dublin Culture Night trail!

The Exhibition:

Part one: The exhibition will be divided into a number of spaces; including a small debut show of five paintings by Radek Rola in the Ground Floor gallery. This artist has been exhibiting with the gallery since early 2006 and has experienced considerable popularity. Radek was born in Poland in 1979 and obtained a Masters Degree in Business Management. However, his attraction to and abilities as a painter, together with encouragement from his grandfather, a well known artist in Poland, enabled him to forge a professional career in fine art. Much of his work is portraiture executed in acrylics on board, or canvas over board, in a limited, dark palette. He presently lives and works in Dublin with his partner, who is the model and inspiration for many of his portraits.

Part two:The exhibition will also showcase paintings from invited artists who have not previously exhibited in the gallery, including Brian Hannigan and Roddy Moynihan.

Part three: Also on display throughout the gallery will be new paintings and sculptures by Vincent Keeling, Alan Kenny, Dee Pieters, Paddy Lennon, Richard Whincop, Murielle Celis, Gerard Ryan, Cara Gordon, Niall Toolan, Brigitte McGovern, Steve Browning, James Horan, Paul Heaslip, Kieran Crowley, David Farren, Michael Morris, Michael Bartlett, Thomas Halloran, Arthur K. Maderson, Katy Simpson, Willie Cunningham,  Liam O'Neill, James Brohan, Laurence O'Toole, Owen Rohu, Tanya Nyegaard, Jimmy Lawlor, Flemming Christoffersen,  Paul Watson, Mia Funk, Jonathan Knuttel, Ronan Goti, Stephen McKeown, Stephen Forbes, Christine Bowen, Robert Ryan and Graham Knuttel amongst others...
